Babette Rothschild, MSW, LCSW, is a teacher, author, pioneer in somatic trauma studies, psychotherapist and body psychotherapist since 1976 and licensed clinical social worker in California since 1978. She is a member of the International and European Societies for Traumatic Stress Studies and the Association of Traumatic Stress. Babette has trained extensively in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Psychodrama (EMDR)Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Somatic Experiencing, and is a Certified Body-Psychoanalyst and Certified Radix Teacher.
