Mathilde Shisko

Mathilde is a graduate of Australia’s premier acting school, NIDA, The National Institute of Dramatic Art. In addition to working as an actor in Theatre, Film and Television she teaches and facilitates workshops in Acting and Voice at the University level across the world. Her specialty is in creating unique vocal play exercises to help others find freedom and expansion in their bodies and voices in places of safety and trust. 

In her business, My Voice Coach, she works with prominent Politicians, TedX speakers, artists, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, health care providers, leaders and coaches to help them tap into their authentic voices to share them with the world.

 

Mathilde is a Course Partner with PVI, teaching her course Aligning Our Voice with Our Intention: A Polyvagal Course for Communication with Allison. In addition to her course, she assists Michael in his Play Zone Pro course at the institute and is a POD leader in their flagship Certificate Course, Safety, Connection and the Human Experience.

In the past 2 years she has presented at The Master Series in Oxford, UK alongside PVI Course Partner, Michael Allison and at The Polyvagal Institute’s Legacy Talks with Dr Porges and Deb Dana in Florida. Last year she facilitated workshops at EACH: International Association for Communication in Healthcare  in Zaragoza, Spain and is a regular speaker for Empower Women Canada, a network for women in business.

She is a wife and mother of 2 adult children and one skittish cat living in Vancouver, Canada.
