This is an advanced program.
To participate in this training, you must have previously completed the course 'Foundations of Polyvagal Theory-Informed Practice' or the Polyvagal Theory course pack. You must also have read the book The Polyvagal Theory in Therapy and completed the personal maps (a. Personal Profile Map, b. Triggers and Flashes Map, and c. Regulatory Resources Map).
Participants must have a thorough understanding of how their own nervous system functions, as well as practice working with their own nervous system states.
Training Description
Dive into the heart of Polyvagal Theory and learn directly and in person from Deb through engaging discussions, demonstrations, experiential exercises, and reflective practices. The retreat also provides the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share insights, and build lasting relationships while immersed in a tranquil setting surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea.
Deb’s Master Class retreats are intended for those who have completed the Foundations training series or other multi-day training with Deb. They are the perfect next step for expanding your understanding of Polyvagal Theory and its transformative power and delving deeper into Polyvagal-guided clinical work and living.

Primer día:
Integrar los principios polivagales en cada elección clínica
Recapitular los principios que conforman la personalidad y el trabajo de un clínico que trabaja informado por la Teoria Polivagal será el objetivo del primer día.
Cada participante estudiará las creencias dominantes en su sistema nervioso, mediante la guia de Deb para comprender el impacto de estas en su trabajo clínico con pacientes.
Los 3 principios organizadores de la teoría Polivagal y los elementos de contexto, elección y conexión se pondrán de manifiesto como guia para el trabajo con pacientes en terapia.
La teoría polivagal NO es una terapia ni un protocolo de actuación clinica. Es un marco de refenencia. En este taller los clínicos trabajaran dentro del marco establecido y siguiendo las pautas de su propio sistema nervioso.
Ejercicios, prácticas y demostración con Deb.
Segundo día:
Hábitos polivagales integrados en la consulta
Los participantes harán un inventario de prácticas, hábitos y acciones polivagalmente informadas que se integran a su trabajo clíncio. Y se realizarán ejercicios y práctica en torno a estos durante el segundo día.
Cada participante compartirá sus desafíos en la aplicación de la Teoría Polivagal.

Tercer día:
Integrar el marco polivagal dentro de otros modelos y herramientas de terapia que cada profesional tenga.
En este último dia los profesionales se llevarán consigo una integración sólida de la Teoría Polivagal para dar soporte a los demás modelos terapeuticos con los que trabajen. Cada uno podrá elaborar como llevarse el trabajo de Deb Dana consigo y hacerlo suyo.

Trainer: Deb Dana
Deb Dana, LCSW, is a clinician, consultant, author, and international lecturer on polyvagal theory-informed work with trauma survivors and is the leading translator of this scientific work to the public and mental health professionals. A founding member of the Polyvagal Institute, Deb developed the signature Rhythm of Regulation® Clinical Training Series: The Science of Feeling Safe Enough To Fall in Love with Life and Take the Risks of Living. A clinician and consultant specializing in working with complex trauma, Deb Dana is widely credited with adapting Polyvagal Theory to trauma treatment. She is, a clinical advisor to Khiron Clinics and an advisor to Unyte-ILS. She is trained in Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Tapas Acupressure Technique, and she completed the Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies at the Trauma Center. Deb’s work shows how an understanding of Polyvagal Theory is applicable across the board to relationships, mental health, and trauma. She delves into the intricacies of how we can all use an understanding of the organizing principles of Polyvagal Theory to change the ways we navigate our daily lives.
