Omar Reda, your workshop instructor, is a board-certified psychiatrist and Harvard-trained trauma expert, the author of many books including Untangled and The Wounded Healer.

Workshop description:

This 90-minute interactive online workshop (+ 30 minutes of Q&A) is designed to cover the principles of working with refugees and how humanitarian workers can listen to stories of pain and care for trauma survivors without forgetting themselves in the process.
This trauma-informed talk will offer hands-on practical tips on how to help refugees cope with, and heal from, their traumatic journeys.
